Summer 2011
With most of the species in our fishing lakes are now well over their spawning season,
the lakes have been a keen area of focus for holiday makers, families and avid anglers
alike as we move into our busy summer season on the park and around the lakes.
Willow Lake the middle sized of our three fishing lakes on park and a firm favourite
with our regular holiday anglers, is producing some excellent catches with our holiday
makers. Carp up to 15lbs and some well sized Roach have been regularly recorded
in recent hauls
Manor Lake, our largest fishing lake at Hengar Manor has been slower going but showing
good signs of improvement into the summer fishing season. Carp up to 21lbs have
been caught with a fine showing of Bream and Tench also.
