Keeping the kids entertained can be a challenge. But luckily for you Cornwall is jam packed full of great activities, free days out and fantastic attractions. There’s something to suit all tastes and ages across Cornwall. Here are just a few of the best places to visit with kids in Cornwall.

The Eden ProjectThe Eden Project

The closest you can get to exploring real rainforests and Mediterranean adventures in Cornwall. The Eden project, near St Austell, is a great place to visit with kids in Cornwall. The attraction bases their ethos on sustainability and teaching. You may learn a thing or two on your adventures across the Biomes and magnificent gardens.

Trethorne Leisure Park

A great day out for the whole family come rain or shine. The park, near Launceston, has over an acre of outside play areas, 45,000 sq ft of indoor play areas. The animal farm is full of furry friends including ponies, goats, llamas, cows and pigs! Not to mention ten pin bowling, dodgems, arcade and a restaurant. Trethorne leisure park is great fun for kids and adults.

Retallack Aqua Park

The huge inflatable aqua park near Padstow has a giant trampoline, catapult, water wheel, climbing wall slides and blast bags… just to name a few. Get the adrenaline pumping – regardless of your water sport experience.

Escape Room

You don’t have to travel far for some family fun. The Cellar escape room is located right here at Hengar Manor Country Park. You have just 60 minutes to use your sharp mind to beat the puzzles and challenges to escape the cellar of our 18th Century Manor House! Please note: players must be ages 14 years and upward, anyone under the age of 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult.

Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm

Whether you’re into cider or playing, this is a great day out for the whole family. The family-run farm near Newquay offers guided tours of apple picking and production of the delicious cider. Kids will love the tractor and trailer rides through the leafy orchards and meeting the friendly farm animals. Sample the great range of drinks or tuck into some homemade scones in the café.

Lanhydrock House

One of Cornwalls’ many beautiful National trust properties and gardens. Just a 20-minute drive from our Cornwall holiday park. Lanhydrock is a fascinating Victorian family home, follow in the steps of generations of the Robartes family as you explore the elegant bedrooms, dining room, kitchens and servants’ quarters. Outside the house you’re free to explore the 30 acres of woodland and dazzling flower beds along the extensive network of footpaths. A great place to stretch those legs and burn off some energy!

iBounce Trampoline Park

If you find yourself experiencing a rainy day here in Cornwall, ibounce is a great attraction, providing hours of fun. ‘The best trampoline park in the south west’ is home to interactive light games, activity zones, and the all new skywalk. Keep fit and have fun with the kids!
